We’re here to lend a helping hand!
Trolley Car goes beyond serving delicious food. We also serve the community. That’s why we do what we can to help our neighbors through our 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, Trolley Car Helping Hands. Here are a few of the ways we serve the communities in which we operate:
Helping Hands Week: We help local organizations raise funds by doing something everyone loves to do: eat! Just get your friends, members, and supporters to bring coupons to either Trolley Car Diner or Trolley Car Café during the specified hours and we will donate 15% of your group’s food and beverage revenue back to your organization! Over the past 10 years, we have given more than $150,000 back to the communities we serve. If you’d like more information about the Helping Hands, click here. If you have any questions or would like to schedule a Helping Hands Week, please contact Steven Urgo at firstname.lastname@example.org or 215.247.5555 ext. 201.
Mt. Airy/Chestnut Hill Teacher’s Fund: Trolley Car Helping Hands oversees the Mt. Airy/Chestnut Hill Teacher’s Fund, an organization that provides grants to local public school teachers. Grants of up to $500 are provided every year to give students the critical materials, equipment, field trips, and programs that will ultimately enhance their learning experiences. Last year alone, the Teacher’s Fund provided over $15,000 to enhance local students’ learning experiences.
Trolley Car Table Tennis Club: Founded in 2010, Trolley Car Table Tennis Club is Philadelphia’s only full-time non-profit table tennis club.
