We’re changing the way you look at healthy foods by mixing traditional with a modern touch. We still believe in using fresh ingredients and preparing foods in a way that maintains its most healthy quotient.

Your grandparents may have never imagined that one day there would be a way to prepare multiple menu items, all at the same time, at just the right temperature, while still maintaining that home-cooked moistness and flavor you love! Well there is, and we’re using it to give you tasty options that don’t skimp on flavor! We make our best menu items using a new top-of-the-line RATIONAL® Combi-Steamer and Self-Cooking Center. This high-speed thermal-cooking unit saves energy and time by cooking foods using a combination of steam and heat.

The Café is committed to using the freshest ingredients possible. Our on-site, award-winning kitchen garden is chock-full of yummy vegetables and herbs that are included in the foods we serve. Our salads are made with ingredients from our garden including 10 varieties of tomatoes, peppers, spinach, asparagus, squash, zucchini, cucumbers, swiss chard, and strawberries. We even grow the fresh-cut flowers that appear on your table. Those perfect blends of flavor are seasoned with herbs such as basil, chives, dill, parsley, rosemary, mint, lavender, and cilantro; all featured in our kitchen garden. The garden is lovingly attended to by Trolley Car Café owner Ken Weinstein every Saturday morning to ensure happy plants end up on your plate every time.
